Welcome to the Newcastle Upon Tyne Speakers Club

Ever considered Public Speaking as a hobby? Perhaps you need to make some presentation for work.  Newcastle Speakers Club can help you learn to speak effectively in public.   Believe it or not, speaking in public can be enjoyable. The Speakers Club provides a well structured, friendly, informal atmosphere in which you can  practise public speaking.  Open to men and women, it is a volunary self help association.  Membership costs just £30 pounds per year.

The Tyneside Speakers Club meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at the Kittywake Pub in Whitley Bay.

 

Club History

The Newcastle Speakers Club has been in existence for over thirty five years. Originaly a 'Toastmasters' Club in joined The Association of Speakers Clubs, when this organisation was founded in the early nineteen seventies.  Two of it's older members have been coming to the club for over thirty years.    It has enjoyed a number of venues including The Three Mile Inn and Benton Conservative Club.  Many people have emerged from it with much improved public speaking skills.
