The success or failure of the evening usually depends on the three Speakers. Rarely do you hear a dull speech. Speakers have to be prepared, but they don't have to be good. Speakers are here to practise and improve.
Normaly a meeting will have three speakers, all speaking to exercises from the Speakers Club Manual. They stand in front of a lecturn, but there is no need for a microphone as the room is small
